CourseSpy Review Guidelines

We will never edit any reviews submitted, with the exception of replacing expletives or personally identifiable information.

While we cannot verify every review’s accuracy, we won’t remove reviews solely for being negative. Anyone can request an evaluation of a review by our moderation team by reporting the review or reaching out to us. We may temporarily hide reviews that have been reported for no more than 72 hours to ensure that the moderation team can assess if it has violated our guidelines. Organisations can request a 'right of reply'  to publicly respond to a review on the website.

Ensure reviews reflect your honest experiences and opinions, not those of others. Reviews should be based on facts and personal experiences, not rumours or assumptions.

We will remove any content that promotes racism, sexism, harassment, or other forms of hate speech. If such content is posted, we may block a user's access to CourseSpy.

Do not post private information pertaining to an individual, including yourself. This includes things such as addresses, contact information, or personal details unrelated to university.

Do not post multiple reviews for the same course or hall. Spamming the platform with multiple reviews or irrelevant content is not allowed and may result in the removal of your reviews and/or account suspension.

We retain the right to remove any content that we deem does not follow these guidelines and/or is not aligned with the CourseSpy guiding principles.
